Description
Copper paint contains metallic microparticles, which oxidize under the influence of the reagent and form a patinated copper effect. The application is very easy and the reaction is fast.
The material is suitable for use on all types of surfaces, for example to turn old furniture, doors, walls into a modern work of art.
Before applying the paint, prepare the base as necessary (grind, clean, if necessary, apply a primer). Apply two coats of copper paint evenly and liberally, letting them dry for 3 hours between each coat (the paint must be mixed thoroughly before application, it contains small metal particles that settle to the bottom of the package). When the paint is dry, apply the reagent. The reagent can be applied in different ways, with a roller for a more uniform effect, with a sponge the result will be like “stained” or by spraying. The reaction is very fast, oxidation will be visible after a few minutes, if the desired result is not achieved after the first time, the oxidation can be repeated. When the desired result is achieved, a final coat of oxidation must be applied.
In addition to protection, the surface can be coated with varnish.
