UVO Pigments for Urethane and Epoxy Systems

Description

Highly concentrated pigments designed for coloring urethane rubbers, plastics, foams, and epoxy systems.

UV-resistant. When a small amount of these pigments is added to epoxy, urethane rubber, plastic, or foam compounds, they produce opaque castings. In contrast, SO-Strong color tints can be used to create translucent urethane castings.

APPLICATION: Add UVO pigment at a ratio of 0.01% to 3% of the total weight of the casting material (Parts A and B mixed together). Pigment concentrations above 1% will generally produce an opaque color. Adding more than 3% by weight may extend the curing time of the material.

When using a transparent material (such as Smooth-Cast 325 or EpoxAcast 690), a single drop of pigment can be used to maintain the material’s transparency while adding color.
