Description

ZA FAST-SIL 38 is a two-component silicone in the form of a thick paste, which is kneaded together in a 1:1 ratio and cures at room temperature. This silicone rubber is particularly suitable for making/reproducing impressions of various shapes and textures. It is very easy to use. It does not run or drip. It is possible to create impressions even in a vertical position. Its heat resistance allows low-melting-point metals, such as tin and other metals with low melting points, to be cast directly into the silicone mold. The mixed material cures in about 12 minutes.

USAGE: Weigh the catalyst and base in equal parts (e.g., 100g of catalyst and 100g of base; an error margin of up to 5% does not affect the result). It is important to follow the precise 1:1 mixing ratio to ensure the final properties of the product.

Once the product is weighed in equal amounts, thoroughly knead both components together until the color is a uniform soft lilac tone. When the product is thoroughly mixed, it is ready for molding.

Use disposable gloves, e.g., nitrile (not latex gloves! They delay the material’s curing).
