Description

Cryptolite is a transparent liquid additive that is added to silicone rubbers, urethane rubbers, plastics, or foams to create a strong blue glow directly under a UV light source, also known as “black light.” You will not see the glow effect without a UV light source!

For example, Cryptolite can be added to crystal-clear epoxy resins, but the glow effect will not be visible until the object is illuminated with a UV light source.

Mixing the base product with a low percentage of Cryptolite will not affect the material’s clarity or color. For example, Cryptolite can be added to crystal-clear epoxy resins, and the glow effect will not be visible until the casting is illuminated with a UV light source.

Important: The best “glow” effect is achieved when Cryptolite is added to transparent materials such as Sorta Clear silicone or Smooth-Cast 325 plastic.

USAGE:

By weight, using a gram scale: 1 part per 100 parts of mixed material (A+B).

By volume, measured in drops: Add 5 drops of Cryptolyte to 388 ml of mixed silicone or urethane material (A+B).

CAUTION: Extremely flammable! Keep away from open flames and sources of heat. Use personal protective equipment. Do not inhale, avoid contact with eyes. Exercise caution during pregnancy. Use in a well-ventilated area. Prevent the product from entering the environment or sewage. The chemical is harmful to aquatic organisms.
